To bring qualified physicians of the area together, to promote physician education and quality patient
care, to guard foster and protect the rights of physicians and patients and to make effective the opinion of
the profession in scientific, public health, economic, political and social welfare problems.

While providing quality medical services with lower
government reimbursement rates than any other state,
Iowa physicians have consistently performed in the top
15% in government quality performance measures.
