Hopefully, everyone had a good holiday break. Woodbury Medical Society starts 2012 with a new President and board members. Ramano Adajar, MD presented the 2011 President's plaque to Ken McCalla, MD (both pictured above) as Dr. Adajar takes over the WMS Presidency for 2012. Other board members are as follow: President-elect - Dr. Rodney Dean, Secretary-Treasure - Dr. Julia Heaton, Trustees - Drs: Keith Allen, Craig Block, Michael Espiritu, Wade Jensen, and Kurt Rosenkranz.

TIMOTHY MORAN, JR., MD and DAVID PAULSRUD, MD RECIPIENTS OF THE WMS AWARDS for 2011

Dr. Timothy Moran, JR, MD received the Woodbury Medical Society's Physician of the Year Award for 2011. Dr. Moran has performed volunteer services through the Siouxland Community Health Center as well as volunteering on several local and state boards representing the medical community. Dr. Moran has also served as WMS President in 2004. David Paulsrud received the Woodbury Medical Society's Community Service Award for 2011. Dr. Paulsrud has come out of retirement to serve as Director of Medical Services at Jackson Recovery Center. Dr. Paulsrud also served on the Sioux City Council from1986-1990.
